At first Max may seem a little mousy or timid but he easily opens up after one conversation. He's quite insecure about his appearance, specifically his weight, which leads him to be very stubborn about showing skin. Max is a nerd bookworm, prefering studying or reading over... A lot of things! He puts others first and tries to be helpful but in doing so makes him an easy target. Max is almost? never judgmental over people but may end up treating them as if he is below them... It's an old habit. Easily a listener, a follower, and a bystander to others.

History; 

Mun-Hee, for the most part, had lived a relatively average life thus far. An only child to two Korean loving parents; Moved towns maybe once or twice before settling in Chirnt. He was born in the U.S and showed an interest in his surroundings throughout his childhood. Mun-Hee or as he usually called himself, Max, was a bright kid who had been taught it was important to give more than receive. He was  He'd always been on the pudgier side since the start of elementary school. Timid, yet still friendly, Max made plenty friends based on the teachings of his parents up until fifth grade. Max moved to a different state due to a job opportunity his father could not resist. His first impression on middle school was not what he'd expected. The first few weeks of school were friendless, awkward and lonely... And so were the weeks after that... And so was a month after that...

He realized it was a whole different ballgame in this new school. The occasional snide remarks about his weight, his hair, and his clothes opened a door of self-doubt. Soon Max was able to remember faces at school like before; only he remembered the faces he wanted to avoid at all costs. His parents got busier in order to support the better house they'd bought before the move. By eighth grade Max had lost interests in most of the little things he called hobbies. Life became a cycle of sleep, eat, study, and miscellaneous. High school only became worse and by then Max questioned his worth to others. He knew that he was useful as a quick cheatsheet for homework and tests, or as an errand boy sporadically. The insults? Slowly formed into verbal abuse, though rarely got physical. In an effort to get himself out of the negative vortex of post-puberty blues, he tried to volunteer and offer to help out more in general. While over half of the time ended up a failure in which someone else has to do things for him, Max still feels the need to keep trying.

TL;DR- A Korean kid bullied for appearance and genetics; with faded aspirations who feels unwanted and useless, but keeps smiling anyway because he doesn't want to give up.

Attribute: Unwanted

Personality: Like the rain or like the mice, unwanted by many but loved by a handful. Chewy is notably thinner than Max and bears characteristics of a gray mouse. He dons an obnoxiously bright yellow raincloak with matching rainboots to represent Max's childish appearance. Chewy, in short (pun intended), is annoyingly persistent yet quite useless in most times; one who you can always expect to stick to you like glue though proves to be useful only occasionally-- in contrast to how Max feels he is like towards his peers. Unlike his real world counterpart, Chewy is overly curious, odd, adventurous, and very simple-minded. His speech consists of squeaks and... well, yeah pretty much squeaks-- Maybe some basic words, too. He is a little troublemaker with a slight hoarding problem.

Description of their Dreamworld;
A little hamster cage/ dollhouse-esque home. The interior is filled with junk people would throw away; mostly bottles and cup of all shapes and sizes to fill liquids in. It's almost always raining in the dreamworld- The rare occasions when there isn't rain there are rainbows. The outside has a little garden space with puddles all around. Some puddles are shallow but some seem to be an endless deep abyss of DEATH. Chewy has marked which puddles are dangerous with caution string- For lack of proper caution tape.
